DWS is now a proud sponsor of the Hawthorn Football Club

To support the Hawks and the tough tenacious coaching from Alastair “Clarko” Clarkson and the coaching staff, DWS has partnered with the Hawks by sponsoring the coaching team. This partnership will also provide DWS and its people numerous benefits including a variety of promotional and branding initiatives in addition to the clubs hospitality at games and club events.

Football and I.T may not be obvious match, but this partnership is seen as being of great value to both DWS and Hawthorn Football Club. The additional sponsorship capital will go a long way in supporting the clubs development and we will be working closely together throughout the season to put together initiatives that will benefit the DWS brand, our clients and employees. We are even looking into the potential for work placement opportunities for players that are interested in IT, with the aim to provide them some insight into the field for their post football careers.

DWS will also now have an active brand presence at all Hawthorn matches communicating our company identity to hundreds of thousands throughout the season at games and via television coverage. Accordingly, we’ve also introduced a footy centric tagline that embodies the DWS brand for relevant communication to the AFL audience: “DWS – kicking goals in IT”.

Our employees are also getting into the football spirit with a huge number of staff taking up the free Hawks membership offer that forms part of our new partnership with the club. This season is sure to be an exciting one with plenty of action and there’s little doubt our DWS internal footy tipping competition will follow suit.

Much like DWS, the Hawks have been drafting the hottest young talent and have put together a very promising team that will no doubt develop into a formidable force and perform for years to come. DWS owes much of its success and incessant growth to its strong recruitment principles; after the latest draft the Hawks have a very strong foundation and we hope all the players will achieve and outperform year on year as our recruits have for DWS.
